Sweet hay and fresh alfalfa...

Food has played a large role throughout my life. My mother is an excellent baker and one of my fondest memories is arriving home from school to a table full of rows and rows of Christmas cookies. The entire house would smell wonderful and my brother and I would sneak into the kitchen to eat them before they were cooled.

We also ate Italian dishes growing up like spaghetti, gnocchi

as well as lots of garlic and blueberry pie!

 

I now own a place in Reston that I like a great deal and, as it's a condo, it's just about as cozy as Mr. Ed's stable.
